Tahoe Nugget #3:
June snowstorm
Don't look now, but another storm is barreling in from the Pacific today. Very unusual for this time of year, although I do remember
an 8-inch snowfall on Father's Day in 1979. We are expecting up to four inches of snow above 7,500 feet tonight. Wind gusts are peaking at about 100 mph over the ridges. For those of you who know Tahoe, if you
look closely on the right hand side, you can see that many of the north-facing ski runs at Homewood Resort are still snow covered and we are fast approaching July. Hawaii here I come!
